Kynges Well is set in the heart of the historic town of Brading on the east coast of the Isle of Wight. Inside the traditional pub, the landlords offer a full table service, so whether you are here to dine or to just enjoy a coffee by the open fire, you are sure of a warm welcome. The pub originally was called ‘The Red Lion’ and dates back to at least 1828. In recent years it has been called the ‘Smart Fox’, the ‘Snooty Fox’ and more recently ‘The Dark Horse’. It takes its current name from the fact that there is a well inside the pub that used to serve the village.
The chefs use fresh and local ingredients throughout the whole menu and also have daily specials. The main menu has dishes to suit everyone, including a kids menu, gluten free options vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements.
There is plenty of entertainment on offer including regular poker night and quiz evenings.
