Paul and Sue Brownrigg are well-known on the Island for their quality and affordable meat which is produced on their own farm. They began their venture 20 years ago with a flock of free range turkeys and geese. The Brownriggs now also rear traditional ruby red cattle, have a flock of over 1000 sheep and free range hens that produce over 3000 eggs a day. These are all available to buy Islandwide. The Brownrigg family took over The Isle of Wight Bacon Company. They now produce their own free range pork including a sumptuous range of sausages, traditional pork joints, hams and their own dry cured bacon. All items plus more from other producers can be found in the farm shop near Godshill.
