Our touring park is well located between the sandy beaches of Ryde and Sandown and other Island attractions are easily accessible either by car or bus. Visitors can easily explore the Island by bus, leaving their car or motorhome on site! There are bus stops just outside Whitefield Forest Touring Park which will take you in either direction towards Sandown or Ryde.
We are situated in an area which has a number of public footpaths and bridal ways allowing access to the surrounding countryside and coastline allowing our guests to enjoy a variety of walks or cycle rides.
Our touring park is unique to the island with its forest setting and terraced pitches. Many of our guests have described our toilet and shower block as ‘luxury!’ We have achieved five pennants from the AA, five stars from Quality in Tourism and have been named the AA Campsite of the year for the South East Region 2010. Come and visit us and see for yourself!
We have a mixture of spacious all-weather hardstanding pitches and traditional grass pitches, all with electric hook-ups. All pitches are well drained, level and sheltered providing an ideal campsite for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Our amenities block is heated and includes privacy cubicles, hair dryers and razor points, spacious shower cubicles, family washrooms including baby changing facilities and a disabled shower room. There are washing up areas around the amenities block and a laundry room.
In the Reception there is a small shop selling a few essentials as well as some little treats – like ice creams for those hot sunny days! We also have books in Reception which you can swap or borrow whilst you are with us!
Just outside the Reception block is the Motorhome Service Point, convenient for filling up with water on your arrival to the park. There is also a recycling point in this location where visitors can recycle paper, card, glass, tin and plastic.
