Originally designed by followers of Capability Brown our gardens have certainly seen better years! However, we are delighted by the constant change in seasons and as we clear more of the overgrown tresses we uncover new sights and smells. The gunnera grows rampantly between the ponds of the lower garden. Daffodils, crocuses and bluebells are a wonderful sight as the first signs of spring and cover the garden with a mass of dramatic colour. Our guests ask us not to weed too many times as they come to spot the butterflies, birds and bats that inhabit our undergrowth!
Accommodation at Lisle Combe is spacious and comfortable. We have a combination of rooms to cater for couples, families or groups. Each room has superb views of the English Channel. All the rooms have a television with DVD player, radio alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities.

A traditional English breakfast is served in the dining room. This substantial meal sets you up for the day ahead. However, if you prefer, we can also serve a lighter breakfast of fruit, yogurt and cereals.
